Push and Pull for Pink is where Community, Fashion, Health and Fitness come together for a great cause. We're supporting families and those in need one Push-up and Pull-up at a time. Help conquer and win the fight against Breast Cancer.
As a part of the High Performance Life Style event during Maryland Fashion Week 2012, we are excited to once again announce the Push and Pull for Pink challenge to support Breast Cancer. We have partnered with LA Fitness, IMEG, MAT Associates, Platinum Image Group, and Lisa "Too Fierce" Foster-Cohen to combine our efforts to create an active and healthy lifestyle with a community and corporate challenge. This year is the 3rd year for the Push and Pull for Pink event. The past two years were every successful combining over 4500 pull-up‘s and push-ups. We are asking companies to donate or make a pledge for each Pull-up and Push-up performed during event.
The Push and Pull for Pink Health and Fitness challenge will be held at LA Fitness in Capital Heights, Maryland. Proceeds will benefit Hopkins Breast Cancer Inc. Be sure to check out “The Stories” page to read more about this wonderful organization and how they’re helping families and the communities.
The Push and Pull for Pink Challenge
How many push-ups or pull-ups can you contribute towards the cause? We are asking for corporate sponsorship and individuals to pledge by either donating a percent for each Push-up and Pull-up completed or by sponsoring a participating person by matching a predetermined amount for the total number of Push-ups and/or Pull-ups completed during a single effort for each. We are also looking for participants that can secure individual sponsorship. Participants will be monitored at the event locations to validate their total number of push-ups and pull-ups.
Our 2012 goal is to complete a total of 5000 push-ups and pull-ups. Our long term mission is to complete one million push-ups and pull-ups in one year.
